As well as the promotion of hurling, Gaelic football, handball and rounders, the GAA also support the Irish language, traditional Irish dancing, music, song and other aspects of Irish culture. Scór is the GAA's arts and entertainment competition and allows club members who may or not be playing for the club to still represent the club in a competitive arena.
The Galway Scór na nÓg (U-17) final will be held on the 10th of January 2010 and has been provisionally scheduled to take place in the Abbeyknockmoy Community Centre.
The Galway Scór Sinsear final will take place on the 5th of March 2010 and a venue has yet to be decided.

- Rince Foirne (Céilí or Figure Dancing)
- Amhránaíocht Aonaoir (Solo Singing)
- Ceol Uirlise (Instrumental Group)
- Aithriseoireacht/Scéalaíocht (Recitation/Storytelling)
- Bailéad Ghrúpa (Ballad Group)
- Tráth na gCeisteanna (Question Time)
- Nuachleas (Novelty Act)
- Rince Seit (Set Dancing)
